常见的不定代词有all, both, each, some, any, many, much, (a) few, (a) little, one, ones, either, neither, other, another, none 以及含有every-, some-, any-, no- 所构成的合成代词，如 everybody, anyone, something, nobody等。

不定代词	要点提示	例句
[来源:学。科。网]   one ones	one, ones可以指人，也可以指物，作主语、宾语等，one还可以作定语。	One should always believe in himself.（一个）人要永远相信自己。(主语)
	one及其复数ones可用来代替前面出现过的可数名词。	I like small cars better than large ones.比起大汽车来，我更喜欢小汽车。
	one 的前面可用 this, that, the, which等词修饰。	There are two cars here. Which one is yours? 这有两辆车，哪一辆是你的？
	one及其复数ones可以受形容词修饰。	He has a house, but he bought a new one. 他有一套房子了，但他又买了一套新房子。
some, any	some一般用于肯定句中，any一般用于否定句或疑问句中。	I have some story books. 我有一些故事书。 He doesn’t have any money now. 他现在身无分文。
	some, any与-thing, -body, -one构成的合成词的用法，和some, any用法特点一致。	I don’t know anything about it. 对这事我一无所知。
	some用于单数可数名词前，表示“某个”，而不表示“一些”。	Some man asked for you this morning. 今天早上有个人要见你。
	在表达邀请或请求，并期待给予肯定回答的疑问句中，用some而不用any。	Would you like some tea? 你喝茶吗？（表示邀请）
	在否定句中，用any表达完全否定，用some仅表达部分否定。	I don’t know any of the students here. 这儿的学生我一个都不认识。 I don’t know some of the students here. 这儿的学生我有些不认识。
another other	another泛指众多中的“一个”或“又一个”，一般后面接单数名词, 用作主语、宾语或定语。如果后面接数词，则可以接复数名词。	I don’t like this one. Show me another. 我不喜欢这个，给我看看另一个好吗？ Another three students have asked about the question. 又有三名同学问过这个问题。
	the other 表示两个中的“另一个”，常与one连用。	Mr. Yang has two daughters. One is a doctor, the other is an actress. 杨先生有两个女儿，一个是医生，另一个是演员。
	other+名词=others (别的)。	Some students are reading books, and some others are doing their homework. 一些同学在读书，一些在写作业。（others = other students）
	the other +名词= the others= the rest(其余的)。	Some of the apples are green. The others are red. 有些苹果是青的，其余都是红的。
all both	all代表或修饰三个或三个以上的人或物，在句中作主语、表语、宾语、同位语或定语。	All of us went there yesterday. 昨天我们都去了那儿。 We are all students. 我们都是学生。
	both 指“两者都”，在句中的用法与all 相同。	They are both teachers.他们两个都是教师。 Both his father and mother were late. 他爸妈都迟到了。
each every	each 既可以作形容词，也可以作代词。它用来修饰或指代两个或两个以上人或物中的一个；every只作形容词，修饰名词时，指代三个或三个以上人或物中的一个。	There are many trees on each side of the street. 街道两旁有许多大树 (不能用every，因为道路只有两边) 。 Each of the books has been marked. 每本书都作了标识 (不能用Every，因为Each在本句中是代词) 。 Every student in our class has passed the exam. 我们班的每位同学/所有同学都通过了考试。
	each侧重于强调个体，在句中可作主语、同位语、宾语或定语；every侧重于表达全体，即具有“每一个”的意思，只能作定语。	Each boy has a toy in his hand. 每位男生手中都拿着一个玩具。（强调个体） Every boy is here. = All the boys are here. 所有的男孩都出席了。（强调整体）
either neither both	either指两者中的“任何一个”。	He wrote to either of the twins. 他给双胞胎中的一个人写了信。
	neither指两者中“一个也没有”，全部否定。	He wrote to neither of the twins. 他没给双胞胎中的任何一个人写信。
	both指“两者都”，全部肯定。	He wrote to both of the twins. 他给双胞胎两个人都写了信。
many much	many只能代替或修饰复数名词，在句中作主语、宾语、表语或定语。	Many of the students enjoy playing basketball. 许多学生喜欢打篮球。 I don’t have many pens. 我的笔可不多。
	much只能代替或修饰不可数名词，在句中作主语、宾语、表语或定语。	Do you have much to say? 你有很多话要说吗？ We have much work to do. 我们有许多工作要做。
a few few a little little	a few（肯定）, few（否定） 用于代替或修饰可数名词，在句中作主语、宾语或定语等。	There are a few minutes left. Don’t worry. 别着急，还有几分钟呢。 Few of the students know about it. 很少有学生知道这事。
	a little（肯定）, little（否定）用于代替或修饰不可数名词，在句中作主语、宾语或定语等。	There is little time left. Be quick! 时间不多啦，快点！ — Do you speak English? 你说英语吗？ — Yes, but only a little. 是啊，但只能说一点。
