《新概念英语青少版》(Junior New Concept English)是由外研社于2008年引进出版的，其前身为由亚历山大生前主编的绝笔之作——Target。Target是由朗文公司于1973年出版的，共分为三个级别。外研社引入之后，Target的三个级别分别对应的是《新概念英语青少版》的1A1B、2A2B、3A3B。
外研社又在这三个级别的基础上，往前增加了入门级，分为A、B两个分册;往后又增加了4A4B和5A5B两个级别。
