高考英语完型填空命题特征
高考完型填空一直是学生的难点和痛点,从全省每年高考情况看,考生在完型填空上的失分率相当高。从对考生英语能力考查方面看,这种题型从语篇角度综合测试考生的阅读理解能力,词汇的掌握和对英语习惯用语的熟悉程度,语法规则的灵活运用能力,以及对语篇理解的连贯性与准确性。
一、命题特征
近五年高考全国卷完型填空命题特点分析如下:
1.取材范围。从近五年英语高考试题中可以看出,完形填空所选取文章题材都是记叙文或夹叙夹议文,有很强的故事性和情节性,故事内容丰富。有的是从生活中的琐事得到启发和感悟,有的侧重于描写人物的动作和心理活动,文章内部逻辑性强。
2.文章长度稳定,难度适中。近年来,完形填空所选用的文章一般在250到300个单词之间。文中所出现单词和短语也基本没有超过普通高中英语课程标准2017版2020年修订中规定的3000个单词和需要掌握短语。
3.文章首句完整。完形填空文章的首句一般不设空,这样做的目的是给考生提供一个文章大意的基本信息,透过这个“窗口”了解全文内容,进行合理地推断。
4.重点考查篇章语义,单纯的语法填空极少。完形填空以考察学生对于整体语篇理解为出发点,因此在做题时,考生必须根据文章的整体内容,分层次的结构和内容的逻辑关系做出正确选择。在近五年的完形填空中,单纯考查语法的知识的题目没有,而根据文章内容进行的所谓情景意义选择,目前已覆盖了完形填空的全部试题。
5.考查实词为主,虚词为辅。从近五年高考英语试题来看完形填空所考查的词从词义上来说以实词(名词、动词形容词、副词、代词、等)虚词(介词、冠词、连词等)为辅。
综上所述,完形填空旨在全面考查学生英语基础知识和综合运用语言的能力,其中包括识词能力、阅读及理解能力、逻辑推断能力。因而,它不仅要求应试者有扎实的英语基础知识,还要具备独立分析的能力。鉴于此,具备一定的答题方法和应对策略,其实质是应试者获得正确的解题思路和方法,从而起到事半功倍的效果。
新高考英语完形填空,之前是20道题,每题1.5分,总分30分,现在变成了15道题,每题1分,共15分。
