Unit2 SectionB（2a-3b）优质课教案

教材分析：

本单元以“small talk”为话题，让学生学会在不同的场合用不同的话题进行适当的闲聊。                同时了解不同国家关于闲聊的不同话题，教给学生如何轻松愉悦的与别人进行聊天。 学情分析：八年级学生有了一定的英语基础，词汇的掌握有了一定的技巧，语言的运用能力也在稳步上升。 但是学生对闲聊应该如何开始，聊什么话题没有具体的实践。因此要在本课的学习中充分调动所有学生的积极性，问题设计由浅入深，创设不同的语言环境来练习，以便学生尽快熟悉各种语言环境，能轻松自如的开始闲聊，力争圆满完成本课内容。  

教学目标：

1.知识目标：To learn to predict topic sentences           

2.能力目标：To read to learn more about small talk           

3.情感目标：To know about different cultures 

教学重难点：

1.学会自然的进行闲聊    

2.能根据具体情况，针对不同文化背景，展开恰当的交流。  

教学方法：

多媒体辅助教学法，小组合作法 

教学过程：  

一．Warming-up：say “hello” to each other. 

二．Show the objectives to students.  

三．Leading-in: Watch a video about the art of speaking.   

When we meet each other for the first time,what do we usually talk about?  

When Chinese people meet each other for the first time,  

what do they usually talk about?  

Can we talk about the same thing with Western people  

when we meet them for the first time? Why? 

Then what should we talk about with them?  

Now read the article and find the answers.
