Introduction

2.  Students talk about eating  habits in different countries  in pairs, reviewing  the  usage s  of object clauses.
3.  Students read the  passage about how to  cook their favorite food.  The other students  listen to them carefully and  find out anything wrong.
4. Students understand the importance of review.
5. Students get some information of the new lesson.  
Presentation
1. Students look at the picture of  1a , and learn the new words.
2.  Students listen and   underline the new words.
3.  Students tell the reason:   They will send all the money to Free the Children for a school in  Kenya . They are so kind- hearted.
4. Students listen and fill in the blanks of 1b. 
5. Students check their answers.
6. Students read 1a and  find out the expressions   about opening speeches.
7. Students tell the  expressions about  the  opening  speeches and grasp the new words.
Consolidation
1.  Students read the speeches  after the recording sentence by sentence.
2. Students try to follow  the speed, paying attention  to the pronunciation and intonation.
3. Students read 1a and  underline the key points.
4. Students  read 1a in pairs and prepare to act it out in pairs.
5. Students  act out 1a. The other students listen to them carefully.
