(一)Lead-in
(师)1. Ask and answer
The teacher shows some different professionals and writes down the key words on the blackboard.
T: What’s he/she? What does he/she look like? What’s his/her feeling?
2. Try to remember
Give the students one minute to remember the words on the
blackboard. Then let the students try to say the words as many as possible.
(生)1.Ask and answer in pairs .
2.Remember the words on the blackboard quickly. The try to say out many other words to describe the pictures one by one in rows.
(二)Presentation
(师)1. Present the method to remember words
Introduce a good method to remember the words quickly. Lead the students to put the words into different groups.
2. Try to draw
Teach the students how to draw a vocabulary tree.
(1) Put the words into different groups;
(2) Draw a tree;
(3) Write the group names on the branches;
(4) Write down the words on the leaves of each branch;
3. Do the exercise
Let the students open their books on Page15 to complete the vocabulary tree in their books. First ask the students to do it by themselves and ask three students to write down their answers on the blackboard.
